Marius Lauber aka Roosevelt is a dedicated music lover drawn to all forms of dance music. From yacht rock to Balearic textures, house euphoria to sub-zero techno, it’s the warm emotional touch that drives his music and makes people fall in love with his breakthrough ‘Elliot’ EP, outstanding debut album ‘Roosevelt’, bold and addictive follow-up ‘Young Romance’ and his love letter to electronic music ‘Polydans’. Now, in 2022, Roosevelt has collaborated with legendary producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers to create an ageless and glistening modern disco classic.

While cutting his teeth for years touring around the world, collaborating with acts like Washed Out, and remixing artists like Rhye, Glass Animals, Chvrches, Charlotte Gainsbourg and José Gonzáles, Roosevelt became one of the most buzzed-about new voices in electronic music. When it came time to work on his third album, Lauber took the expertise he learned on the road and brought it back to his roots. Playing almost every instrument on the latest album himself, he produced ‘Polydans’ by swirling together the spirits of 80s synth, disco, French touch and delirious dancefloor euphoria with amazing results.

Discovery Zone

Discovery Zone is the experimental pop project of New York / Berlin musician and multimedia artist JJ Weihl. After the slow-building but undeniable fervor around her debut album Remote Control, Discovery Zone announced her second album Quantum Web due out March 8th via RVNG Intl. and Mansions and Millions (GSA). Inspired by the omnipresence of advertising and corporate culture as much as the potential of cybernetics and neural networks, Discovery Zone plunges into an uncanny valley with Quantum Web, where the distinctions between the earnest and the ironic blur in tandem with the border between the human and the post-human. Discovery Zone explores a widescreen pop sound speckled with luminous vocal performances and baroque instrumental flourishes. On stage, she utilizes a laboratory of instruments and 3D visuals to explore the universe as a source of information
